Terms of Service

Using the service

You must be able to form a binding contract to use MeTTaCal, and you are responsible for activity under your account.

You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or use it to break the law.

Your content

You keep ownership of the calendar data you create. You grant MeTTaCal the permissions needed to store, sync, and display it for you.

You are responsible for the content you store and for having the rights to it.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed as described at sign-up. You can manage, change, or cancel your subscription from account settings, which opens the billing portal.

Billing, payments, and merchant of record

Polar.sh is the merchant of record for MeTTaCal subscriptions. Polar is the seller shown on your invoice, processes your payment, and handles applicable taxes.

Polar's checkout buyer terms apply to the payment and checkout flow. You can read them at polar.sh/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

You can manage or cancel your subscription from account settings, which opens the billing portal.

Refund and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from account settings through the billing portal, and your paid access continues until the end of the current paid period.

Refunds are handled by Polar as the merchant of record. MeTTaCal does not offer partial-period refunds except where required by law or where the service has not been provided.

To request a refund, use the billing portal from account settings or email support@mettacal.com.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided on an as-is basis, without warranties, to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, MeTTaCal is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new effective date, and continued use means you accept the changes.
