Quick add, templates, and the agenda digest

Press Cmd or Ctrl+K and type “Lunch with Ana tomorrow 1pm”: the palette parses it and creates the event. Any event can be saved as a template and stamped onto a day from the same palette.

If you like starting the day from your inbox, turn on the agenda digest in Settings and get your day (or week) by email, with a one-click way to turn it off again. Feedback now has a home in the app too: press Cmd+K and choose Send feedback.

Reminders, selective sync, and calendar sharing

Events can carry reminders that reach you as native notifications, in the app and via web push when you allow it. Google sync became selective: each calendar chooses whether it syncs both ways, one way, or not at all. And you can now share a calendar with another MeTTaCal user, read-only or read-write.

Recurring events and two-way Google sync

Repeating events landed end to end: daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly rules, with scope-aware editing (this event, this and following, or the whole series) that works the same whether you are signed in or trying MeTTaCal locally.

Google Calendar sync is now two-way with per-event conflict resolution: the newer edit wins, per event, so a change from your phone’s Google Calendar and a change in MeTTaCal no longer fight over the whole calendar.
